Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to your use of the SuperDeck iPhone app, the SuperDeck Mac companion, this website, and any related downloads or documentation. By using SuperDeck, you agree to these terms.

What SuperDeck Does

SuperDeck lets you build button decks on your Mac and use them from your iPhone. Depending on how you configure it, SuperDeck can launch apps, open websites, send hotkeys, control media, show widgets, and request approved local actions on your Mac.

Requirements

SuperDeck requires the iPhone app and, for Mac control, the Mac companion app. Your iPhone and Mac must be on a compatible local network and must have the necessary Apple permissions enabled, including local network access and camera access for QR pairing when you choose to scan a pairing code.

Your Decks And Actions

You are responsible for the buttons, URLs, hotkeys, commands, and workflows you configure. Only create actions you understand and trust. SuperDeck should not be used for unsafe, unlawful, destructive, or unauthorized activity, or to access systems, files, accounts, or services you do not have permission to use.

Mac Companion Downloads

The Mac companion may be distributed outside the App Store. macOS security, notarization, and update behavior may vary depending on the build and channel you install. Only download the Mac companion from the official SuperDeck website or another official link provided by SuperDeck.

Subscriptions And Purchases

SuperDeck may offer paid features through Apple in-app purchases. App Store purchases, subscriptions, refunds, billing, family sharing, and cancellation are handled by Apple and are also subject to Apple's terms and policies. Paid features may require the iPhone app and Mac companion to remain compatible and paired.

Updates And Changes

We may update, improve, remove, or change SuperDeck features over time. Some features may depend on Apple platform permissions, macOS behavior, local network conditions, third-party apps, or third-party websites, all of which can change outside SuperDeck's control.

Third-Party Apps And Services

SuperDeck can open or control third-party apps, websites, and services that you choose to configure. Those third parties are not controlled by SuperDeck and may have their own terms, privacy policies, permissions, rate limits, or restrictions. Product names, app names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Intellectual Property

SuperDeck, including its app design, website, branding, software, and documentation, is owned by its creator and licensors. You may use SuperDeck for your personal or internal business productivity, but you may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or redistribute it except where allowed by law or by written permission.

No Warranty

SuperDeck is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that every action will work with every Mac, app, website, keyboard shortcut, network, or operating system version, or that SuperDeck will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SuperDeck and its creator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, goodwill, or device availability arising from your use of SuperDeck.

Apple Terms

Your use of the iPhone app is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and any App Store rules that apply to your download, purchase, subscription, device, and Apple ID.

Termination

You may stop using SuperDeck at any time by deleting the iPhone app and Mac companion. We may restrict access to updates, downloads, or services if these terms are violated or if doing so is necessary to protect users, the product, or the platform.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms as SuperDeck changes. When we do, we will update the effective date and publish the new version on this page.
